What you'll do

• Depending on assignment, conduct legal research
• draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• interview and communicate with clients
• assist with intake and case assessment
• prepare cases for litigation or administrative proceedings
• participate in clinics and outreach
• maintain case files
• support the VLP’s civil legal services mission.
