Director of Operations

The Director of Operations role is onsite in Georgetown, SC; compensation is not specified. AMIkids works to help young people facing school and legal-system challenges make positive changes in their lives. The role leads Youth Care Specialists and direct-care Supervisors and supports day-to-day program operations. By coordinating staffing, overseeing youth activities, reinforcing safety procedures, and developing staff, the Director helps maintain a safe and secure environment for the youth served.

What you'll do

• Supervise youth and staff under program policies
• coordinate daily staffing and required coverage ratios
• oversee program activities and field trips
• enforce safety and security procedures
• conduct youth and property searches
• de-escalate incidents and notify leadership
• hold staff meetings
• provide training, development, feedback, and performance evaluations
• participate in recruiting. May act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
