What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and computer-related vehicle problems
• repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, exhaust, and HVAC systems
• use diagnostic scan tools and testing equipment
• perform routine maintenance and multi-point inspections
• complete oil changes and tire rotations
• test-drive vehicles before and after repairs
• document findings, repairs, and parts required
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
