The Criminal Defense Attorney role is onsite in Yuma, AZ, with compensation of $120,000–$160,000 annually. Providence Staffing is partnering with a growing criminal defense firm in Yuma that represents individuals facing criminal charges. The attorney manages cases from intake through resolution, represents clients in court, develops defense strategies, conducts investigations and legal research, and maintains client communication while contributing to the firm’s team culture.

What you'll do

• Manage misdemeanor and felony cases from consultation through hearings, motions, trials, and post-trial proceedings
• represent clients at court appearances
• draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• conduct legal research
• interview witnesses, visit crime scenes, review discovery, and analyze evidence
• communicate with clients about case status, options, and next steps
• mentor and support paralegals and administrative staff.

Why this role
