The Concrete Finisher role is onsite in Wichita, KS. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Crossland Construction’s concrete crews on construction projects. This role finishes freshly poured concrete to project specifications and quality requirements. The finisher works with the crew to prepare and complete concrete surfaces, edges, and joints, and to maintain safe, orderly tools and equipment.

What you'll do

• Place, spread, consolidate, screed, level, and finish freshly poured concrete
• finish slabs, sidewalks, curbs, foundations, walls, and ramps
• use hand tools and power equipment
• check elevation, slope, flatness, and finish
• form edges and joints
• patch and repair concrete
• apply curing compounds
• coordinate with foremen and crew members
• follow plans, quality requirements, safety policies, and PPE requirements.
