The Personal Care Assistant (Daylight) role is onsite at Redstone’s North Huntingdon Personal Care location in Irwin, PA. Pay is $16.14–$16.64 per hour. Redstone is a nonprofit, faith-based senior care organization serving Westmoreland County and supporting residents with respect and dignity. The assistant provides daily personal care to residents in nursing and personal care/assisted living departments, following individualized care plans and helping residents remain safe and comfortable. The role also supports residents’ participation in activities and services by providing transportation within the facility.

What you'll do

• Care for residents in nursing and personal care/assisted living departments
• perform rounds at the beginning and end of each shift
• assist with bathing or showering, dressing, oral care, toileting, nutrition, and hydration according to individualized care plans
• transport residents to activities, dining services, beauty shop appointments, and chapel services as recommended by the facility’s Rehab Department.
