What you'll do

• Assess nursing staff training needs
• develop, implement, evaluate, and document orientation, in-service, and continuing education programs
• plan and conduct required training across shifts
• maintain education and attendance records
• create and maintain an annual staff development plan
• coach and precept new hires
• monitor workplace safety compliance
• support quality improvement training
• maintain employee education files
• assist with training budgets and equipment demonstrations
• observe and review employee skills and training completion.
