What you'll do

• Monitor plant and pump or booster station operations
• operate equipment using instrumentation panels and control systems
• record operating conditions and diagnose basic problems
• perform routine cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, inspection, and minor repairs
• collect water, wastewater, and industrial waste samples
• conduct field and laboratory tests
• prepare chemical solutions and monitor supplies
• calibrate portable meters
• perform facility maintenance, cleaning, and grounds work
• operate vehicles and material-handling equipment.
