The Early Childhood Teacher role is onsite in New Richmond, WI, with compensation of $15–$18 per hour. First Lutheran Childcare Center’s mission is to “Gather in Grace, Grow in Faith, and Go Equipped to Serve.” The teacher creates and implements classroom curriculum, supports children’s development in a safe and nurturing environment, and communicates with families. The role contributes to the center’s educational program through child assessments, family conferences, classroom management, and daily care.

What you'll do

• Create and implement daily and weekly curriculum with administrative guidance
• provide a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom
• manage behavior using positive redirection and affirmation
• assess children and conduct fall and spring parent-teacher conferences
• communicate with families and coworkers
• maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized classroom
• follow center health policies
• support the faith component of students’ daily lives
• maintain classroom supplies and assist with the budget.
