Production Operators, 2nd Shift

The Production Operators, 2nd Shift position is onsite in Louisville, KY. Compensation is not specified. The role supports production of quality parts to specification and on time. Operators set up machines and auxiliary equipment, verify settings and sample parts, and follow quality procedures. They also perform secondary operations as needed, support continuous improvement and safety, maintain equipment and an orderly work area, and communicate issues and shift handoffs to help sustain production quality and continuity.

What you'll do

• Safely produce quality parts on time and to specification
• set up machines and auxiliary equipment
• verify settings by measuring positions and inspecting first-run and sample work pieces
• follow quality assurance procedures
• perform secondary operations such as testing, trimming, assembly, and packaging as needed
• support quality, productivity, continuous improvement, safety, and pollution prevention
• maintain a clean work area
• perform preventive operator maintenance and report equipment issues
• document and communicate shift handoffs
• identify and contain nonconforming product.
