What you'll do

• Manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio.
• Perform due diligence to verify information provided by customers.
• Gather information about customer relationships and credit exposures.
• Utilize multiple sources to gain background information on clients.
• Gain understanding of the borrower's industry.
• Gather and evaluate business/personal financial statements, balance sheets, and tax returns.
• Work with manager and credit administration on analyzing information.
• Assist with credit approval presentations to the Executive Loan Committee and Board of Directors.
• Assist with credit file review and annual review of loans.
• Monitor existing credits.
• Review new laws and regulations that influence business lending.
• Develop new customer prospects and business.
• Participate in customer calls.
• Deepen customer relationships through sales calls.
