USPS Mail Delivery Driver

Job overview

The USPS Mail Delivery Driver role is onsite in Alpine, AZ, serving a local United States Postal Service mail route. Pay is $150 per day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly. The route is scheduled to start November 12, 2026, and runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays except federal holidays, approximately 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. The driver sorts and loads mail and packages in delivery sequence and delivers them along an assigned route. The role supports mail service in the Alpine area and requires the contractor to provide a qualifying vehicle and insurance.

What you'll do

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence
• load mail and parcels into a delivery vehicle
• deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel
• dismount when required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail
• complete other administrative duties as required. Provide a qualifying vehicle and minimum liability insurance.
