Compliance Technician

The Compliance Technician role is onsite in Kenai, AK, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for 52 weeks. Compensation is not specified. The position supports the Kenaitze Indian Tribe’s Quality, Compliance & Privacy department and program. Working under the direction of the Compliance and Privacy Manager, the technician helps the Tribe prepare for audits and surveys, review organizational processes, and investigate and resolve compliance-related grievances and incident reports. The role also helps staff understand compliance and grievance processes and supports adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and Tribal policies.

What you'll do

• Assist with gathering, preparing, and reviewing internal and external audit materials
• audit internal billing, documentation, and organizational processes
• provide findings and feedback
• use survey, complaint, and suggestion responses to inform improvements
• report obstacles to the manager
• help educate clinics and programs about standards
• support compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local laws and policies.
