Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Hotel Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Matteson, IL, with pay of $17–$25 per hour. The position supports facilities and guest rooms at a Hilton-brand hotel property. The technician performs routine repairs and preventive maintenance to keep hotel facilities, equipment, and guest rooms in good condition and provide a safe, comfortable environment for guests. The role also responds to guest maintenance requests and supports emergency maintenance needs as required.

What you'll do

• Perform routine HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry maintenance
• respond to guest maintenance requests
• conduct daily property walks
• assist with room preventive maintenance according to Hilton brand standards
• maintain pool, fitness center, and other facility equipment if applicable
• coordinate work orders and priorities with the Chief Engineer or GM
• follow safety guidelines and hotel procedures
• support emergency maintenance needs as required.
