The Senior Software Engineer, Agentic Systems role is onsite in Denver, CO. Compensation is $150,000–$200,000 per year. StackHawk builds security tools that identify vulnerabilities in running applications and APIs and provide fix paths to coding agents. The engineer owns the product’s agentic security workflow, building the tools, context, verification loop, and evaluation systems that help agents find and fix vulnerabilities reliably. The role also contributes to the core platform, APIs, developer tooling, and integrations, with work delivered to customers.

What you'll do

• Design and build the find-fix-verify loop for agentic security workflows
• build and maintain the tool layer used by coding agents
• extend published agent skills
• engineer model context and agent workflows
• build evaluation harnesses for non-deterministic systems
• develop core product features and services in a microservices architecture
• design APIs and developer-facing command-line tools
• integrate with GitHub, GitLab, CI systems, IDEs, and agent runtimes
• collaborate with product, security, and go-to-market teams.
