What you'll do

• Operate Class A vehicles to transport scrap metal between customer sites, scrap yards, and processing facilities
• inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance issues
• load and unload containers or trailers as required
• secure loads
• maintain DOT and company logs and paperwork
• follow safety procedures and environmental regulations
• communicate with dispatch and customers
• comply with union work rules, schedules, and assignments.
