Floating Teacher — Paid Winter Break

The teacher provides classroom coverage and assistance throughout the day, helping maintain consistent care and age-appropriate learning activities. The role supports classroom teachers and contributes to a safe, nurturing environment for children and families.

What you'll do

• Provide substitute classroom coverage
• assist with classroom opening and closing routines
• prepare materials for lesson plans
• engage children in free play and projects
• supervise outdoor time
• assist with bathroom needs, diapering, meals, and naps
• maintain school cleanliness
• encourage age-appropriate interactive activities
• maintain required professional development hours and PQ registry
• attend monthly staff meetings
• build positive relationships with students and parents.
