Certified Medication Aide

What you'll do

• Document residents’ conditions and nursing needs
• implement physicians’ orders promptly and accurately
• administer medications and treatments and document them as required
• supervise, direct, and evaluate junior staff and CNAs
• participate in personnel orientation and in-service training
• assist physicians with tests and procedures within the scope of state requirements
• use supplies economically and maintain clean, safe equipment
• report and record resident observations and reactions.
