The engineer builds and operates backend services, APIs, data models, and pipelines that make clinical information reliable and accessible. The work supports clinical applications, reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows through data quality, governance, and cross-functional technical leadership.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate Python backend services and RESTful APIs for clinical data
• evolve scalable clinical data models using FHIR and HL7
• build and maintain batch and event-driven data pipelines
• establish automated validation, testing, reconciliation, and monitoring
• develop transformation layers and curated datasets
• implement data documentation, lineage, provenance, versioning, retention, and auditability practices
• collaborate across clinical, product, engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI teams
• lead design discussions, review implementations, mentor engineers, and contribute to engineering standards.
