What you'll do

• Explain procedures and support patient comfort and safety
• verify patient identity and obtain clinical history
• perform echocardiography studies per protocol
• identify and adjust for normal and abnormal cardiac function
• operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
• document and archive studies
• disinfect equipment
• communicate findings to physicians
• participate in on-call rotation and emergency response
• assist with staff orientation and education.
