What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
• ensure food is properly portioned and presented
• follow recipes and food safety standards
• assist with food preparation, baking, and special meals
• maintain kitchen, storage, and serving areas
• monitor inventory and report supply needs
• interact respectfully with residents
• accommodate food preferences and special requests
• assist with setup and cleanup for events and themed meals.

Why this role

Previous cooking experience is required; senior living or healthcare experience is a plus. Food handler certification is required or may be obtained upon hire; ServSafe certification is a plus. Schedule: Sunday 6:45 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday 12:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m.; Friday 6:45 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; Monday and Saturday off.
