In-Home Specialist — North Branch and Shafer

The In-Home Specialist role is onsite at clients’ homes in the North Branch and Shafer, MN area, with compensation of $18 per hour. One Day At a Time provides in-home supports to adults with disabilities, promoting independent living and positive learning. The specialist supports clients in working toward individual goals for a healthy, independent lifestyle. The role includes practical guidance and assistance with appointments, employment, household tasks, budgeting, community activities, and relationships.

What you'll do

• Schedule and maintain appointments
• assist clients with finding gainful employment
• support household tasks and budgeting
• engage clients in community activities
• promote healthy relationships
• travel weekly to client locations using a personal vehicle
• design a flexible work schedule. The current Shafer opening is four hours each Wednesday, 12 p.m.–4 p.m.
• female staff only, with mental health and chemical dependency experience a plus.
