What you'll do

• Analyze complex loan files, including high-dollar, layered-risk, and exception-based cases
• advise on challenging files and edge cases
• conduct second-level reviews of escalated or borderline applications
• recommend underwriting policy updates
• mentor and informally train junior underwriters
• support audits, compliance inquiries, and exception approvals
• lead quality control reviews
• partner with technology teams to improve underwriting tools and automation logic.
