What you'll do

• Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 fiber testing to customer specifications and industry standards
• test single-mode and multimode fiber using optical testing equipment
• interpret design documents and splice diagrams
• troubleshoot performance issues
• verify routes, assignments, and labels
• support turnups, acceptance testing, and customer handoffs
• respond to outages
• document results
• maintain and calibrate test equipment
• follow safety requirements.
