What you'll do
- Prepare patients and procedure trays
- assist dentists with restorative dentistry and oral surgery
- take dental X-rays
- sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- update patient histories and records
- provide postoperative and oral health instructions
- maintain dental supplies and equipment logs
- clean operatories
- enter information in electronic health records
- assist with appointments, calls, ordering, and billing as needed.
