What you'll do

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and snacks
• use portion-control procedures
• help clean work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils
• distribute menus and check trays for menu and diet preferences and accuracy
• store food and supplies properly
• follow standard precautions and sanitary, safety, and infection-control procedures
• wash dishes according to proper procedures and federal and state guidelines.
