The Climbing Wall Attendant role is part-time and onsite in Duluth, MN. Compensation is $13 per hour. The Duluth Area YMCA’s mission is to strengthen communities and support member wellness and engagement. The attendant supports a safe, welcoming fitness environment by responding to member needs, conducting consultations and orientations, communicating facility guidelines, and maintaining a clean and functional area. The role also helps members pursue healthy-living goals and connect with the YMCA community.

What you'll do

• Conduct consultations, fitness evaluations, basic orientations, and teen orientations
• build relationships with members
• answer questions about healthy-living goals
• communicate and enforce equipment-area policies
• keep the area safe, clean, and functional
• respond to emergencies
• support an inclusive environment.

Why this role

CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required, with training available upon hire and certification to be obtained within 60 days; higher certification levels are accepted.
