The Direct Support Professional, Day Program Art Center is an onsite, full-time role in American Fork, UT, scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM for 40 hours weekly. Pay is $16.50 per hour. TURN Community Services provides services to people with developmental disabilities, including day programs and art center programs. The professional supports people with developmental disabilities in living as independently as possible, with a focus on teaching and participating in art forms. The role also supports daily living activities, behavior management, and individualized schedules to help participants engage in their community and daily lives.

What you'll do

• Support participants with day-to-day schedules
• teach and facilitate art activities such as dance, music, singing, theatre, painting, and sculpting
• assist with behavior management and daily living activities
• model appropriate social skills and behaviors
• maintain accurate documentation
• promptly report health or safety concerns
• drive a large vehicle for community engagement and transportation to and from home.
