Mechanical Assembler

Job overview

The Mechanical Assembler role is onsite in Washington, PA, with pay of $20–$25 per hour. SMS group designs, builds, and services industrial equipment for steel plants. What you'll do

• Repair and maintain industrial production or processing machinery
• replace malfunctioning components
• disassemble and reassemble equipment
• test and diagnose machinery using testing devices
• clean, lubricate, and adjust parts
• inspect for defects and wear
• verify repairs through operation
• record parts used and maintenance performed
• consult blueprints and manuals
• cut and weld metal to repair or fabricate parts and equipment.
