Accounts Receivable Specialist I

The Accounts Receivable Specialist I role is onsite in Dickinson, ND. Pay is $25–$27 per hour. The position supports Baranko Environmental’s environmental cleanup, waste management, and oilfield service operations. The specialist prepares and verifies customer invoices, follows up on outstanding balances, resolves billing issues, and maintains accurate financial records. The role supports timely cash collection and coordination between finance, field personnel, operations leadership, and customers.

What you'll do

• Prepare and verify customer invoices using timecards and supporting documentation
• resolve billing discrepancies
• meet customer-specific invoicing requirements and submit invoices through customer portals
• monitor aging and follow up on past-due balances
• investigate invoice disputes and payment discrepancies
• maintain collection and billing records
• complete month-end cutoff procedures
• perform monthly credit card reconciliations
• provide accounts receivable reporting and analysis as requested.
