The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in East Syracuse, NY, part-time Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the school calendar. Pay is $17–$22 per hour. Little Lukes’ mission is to build a bright future for every child through care and education in the community. The assistant supports preschool children ages 3–5 in inclusive classrooms alongside lead and special education teachers. The role helps deliver developmentally appropriate academic and social learning, maintain classroom routines, and create a positive, structured environment that prepares children for kindergarten.

• Support preschool children’s development and education in inclusive classrooms
• assist with developmentally appropriate academic and social skills through group and individual interactions
• help maintain an engaging, structured classroom
• implement classroom management and reinforce expectations and routines.
