Electrical Designer II — Industrial, Process and Agribusiness

Job overview

The Electrical Designer II role is onsite in Hopkins, MN. Compensation is $34–$43 per hour, and the position is eligible for an annual bonus. The designer supports KFI Engineers' Industrial, Process & Agribusiness department on facility infrastructure and processing projects. The role produces electrical construction documents and models, coordinating design work with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders. It contributes to coordinated project delivery through accurate drawings, layouts, and design documentation.

What you'll do

• Produce AutoCAD drawings and Revit models
• attend site visits as needed
• review existing drawings and collect electrical data
• develop electrical room and lighting layouts
• model equipment and raceways
• create schematic and wiring diagrams
• edit schedules
• coordinate documents with stakeholders
• provide guidance to developing team members.
