What you'll do

• Operate MRI scanners and select imaging techniques based on physician orders and patient condition
• evaluate images before they reach a radiologist
• screen patients and enforce MRI safety zones
• assess contrast contraindications and monitor patients
• position and explain procedures to patients
• maintain accurate documentation
• perform routine quality-control checks and equipment maintenance
• and mentor staff or students as needed.
