Weekend CT Tech, onsite, Franklin, TN. Compensation is not specified. TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center has been serving the community for the past 40 years. A CT Tech, or Computed Tomography Technologist, performs CT scans, ensuring the highest level of customer service and image quality while managing the entire patient procedure.

What you'll do

• You will perform CT exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.
• You will take patient history and retrieve any necessary orders or prior images.
• You will provide patient history, signs, and symptoms appropriate to the exam to the radiologist.
• You will appropriately complete documentation.
• You will coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
• You will support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
• You will inform patients about procedures and answer questions.
• You will interact and professionally communicate with physicians, patients, and family members.
• You will start IVs for contrast administration.
• You will use the power injector.
• You will prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies.
• You will support and participate in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• You will perform other duties as assigned.
