A/B-Level Automotive Technician

Job overview

The A/B-Level Automotive Technician role is onsite in Medford, OR, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour, depending on technician level, plus an opportunity for a production bonus. The role is with John’s Auto Care Center, as described in the posting distributed by Promotive. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicles, performs maintenance and inspections, and uses diagnostic tools to identify problems. The role supports the shop’s repair workflow across domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles while maintaining an organized service bay.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• perform general repairs, maintenance, inspections, and component replacement
• complete brake, timing-chain, turbo-related, and oil-leak repairs
• use diagnostic and scan tools
• service domestic, Asian, European, and fleet vehicles
• assist service advisors with parts and repair information
• maintain a clean, organized service bay.

Why this role

B-level candidates need at least three years of automotive repair experience; A-level candidates need at least five years. European vehicle experience is preferred; ASE certifications are preferred but not required. Personal tools are required.
