Registered Nurse II, Emergency Department

Job overview

The Registered Nurse II, Emergency Department role is onsite in Clearlake, CA. Compensation is $48–$52 per hour. The nurse reports to the Director of the Emergency Department and provides care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The role supports emergency department care by assessing patients, monitoring clinical status, administering and managing IV fluids, and maintaining accurate documentation. It contributes to timely, professional responses to emergency situations across the patient populations served.

What you'll do

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments according to policy
• monitor hemodynamic status and interpret results
• prepare, administer, monitor, and discontinue IV fluids
• maintain knowledge of medications and age- and condition-appropriate administration
• document patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses, and changes
• handle emergency situations promptly and professionally.
