Civil Designer 2 — Land Development

The Civil Designer 2 — Land Development role is onsite in Harrisburg, PA; compensation is not specified. LIVIC Civil provides civil engineering, land development, traffic and transportation engineering, GIS, survey, and landscape design services. The designer independently produces key portions of land-development design packages and supports permit-ready submissions. The role contributes to project delivery by preparing plans and calculations, coordinating design inputs and agency requirements, and participating in quality review under the direction of a Professional Engineer.

What you'll do

• Draft in Autodesk Civil 3D and maintain drafting standards and file configurations
• prepare grading plans, site designs, layouts, and details
• prepare stormwater and infrastructure calculations, reports, and permit packages
• prepare quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating
• research permit requirements, codes, regulations, and standards
• coordinate with municipalities, permit agencies, design-team members, and subconsultants
• participate in QA/QC and respond to comments.
