Health and Fitness Specialist, onsite, Greenway, VA. Salary range $65,650.00 - $118,675.00 per year. Leidos is a technology leader serving government and commercial customers. This role exists to create, implement, and lead a variety of health, wellness, and fitness programs for a Federal Intelligence Community customer's occupational health and wellness program.

What you'll do

• Develop, lead, assist and deliver health and wellbeing briefings, workshops, events, and seminars.
• Provide health and wellbeing consultations and services to individuals, including fitness goal setting and customized fitness programs.
• Provide individuals and group fitness participants with enhanced knowledge of exercise, body alignment and exercise safety.
• Support the planning, management, and evaluation of fitness programs and equipment.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as fitness facility oversight and equipment assessment.
• Attend meetings and provide written, weekly activity reports.
• Serve as substitute if primary instructor is unable to teach a group exercise class.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Experience

5 years of work experience as a health fitness specialist or exercise physiologist setting fitness goals, and planning/managing customized fitness programs.
