Senior 3D Motion Designer

The Senior 3D Motion Designer role is onsite in Austin, TX; compensation is not specified. At CesiumAstro, the role supports communications systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. This designer turns complex engineering concepts into technically accurate visual stories for marketing, product storytelling, and other communications. The role owns 3D production quality and reusable animation standards while collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing colleagues and mentoring junior designers.

What you'll do

• Produce 3D animated content for web, social, press, events, and executive presentations
• lead animation sequences and renders
• manage animation, composition, lighting, materials, camera animation, rendering, and compositing
• create realistic product/system renders and abstract concept animations
• maintain reusable assets and standards
• collaborate with engineers and designers
• mentor junior designers.
