Senior Accountant

Job overview

The Senior Accountant role is onsite in Carlsbad, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule and compensation of $90,000–$110,000 per year. The accountant manages close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis for North American corporate entities. The work supports accurate public reporting, audit readiness, consistent accounting processes, and strong internal controls.

What you'll do

• Prepare monthly and quarterly workpapers and financial statement packages
• support month-, quarter-, and year-end close and audits
• review management fee calculations and billings
• prepare labor billings
• monitor labor costs and intercompany bills
• review SG&A analyses
• prepare and post journal entries
• investigate account variances
• recommend corrective actions
• improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Why this role

The posting requires three or more years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and knowledge of U.S. GAAP. CPA and IFRS experience are preferred.
