Middle School Program Lead Teacher

The Middle School Program Lead Teacher role is onsite in Madison, WI, with pay of $20 per hour. The Lussier Community Education Center’s mission is to build community, create opportunities, and enrich education. The teacher supports middle school students’ academic, physical, and social-emotional development through out-of-school programming and tutoring. The role develops engaging activities, builds relationships with youth and families, and collaborates with program partners to strengthen youth participation and growth.

• Design and lead learning experiences
• support homework, enrichment, recreation, and youth identity groups
• build relationships with youth and families
• collaborate on recruitment and retention
• communicate with families
• participate in planning, attendance collection, and reporting
• engage interns, partners, and volunteers.
