Fitness Trainer — Full-Time

Job overview

The Fitness Trainer role is onsite in Salt Lake City, UT. Pay is $15 per hour. Planet Fitness’s group fitness program supports members in pursuing fitness goals and creating a welcoming gym environment. The trainer leads small-group classes, orients new members to safe equipment use, and provides general fitness guidance and encouragement rather than one-on-one personal training. The role also supports member engagement, gym-floor safety and cleanliness, participation tracking, and front-desk operations as needed.

What you'll do

• Conduct new-member orientation sessions
• teach safe and effective use of gym equipment
• design and lead small-group fitness classes
• provide general fitness instruction and equipment guidance
• build member relationships
• maintain a clean and safe workout environment
• report equipment issues and safety concerns
• track session participation
• support front-desk operations as needed.
