What you'll do

• Clean and sanitize assigned equipment and production or storage areas according to applicable FDA, USDA, state, local, and company standards
• report food safety or quality issues
• follow equipment cleaning protocols
• safely assemble and disassemble equipment
• mix and apply industrial cleaners and sanitizers according to instructions and label directions
• maintain assigned equipment
• communicate issues to the Sanitation Supervisor or Foreperson
• drive a forklift after training and certification
• ensure assigned tasks pass required microbiological tests
• perform line CIP if designated
• use required protective gear
• work in assigned plant areas
• perform other assigned tasks.
