What you'll do

• Welcome patients and discuss care plans
• prepare sterilized equipment
• take vital signs and record medical histories
• perform preliminary exams and assess oral health
• evaluate for gum disease, cavities, and infection
• remove plaque, apply fluoride, teach oral hygiene, create impressions, take X-rays, and assist dentists during exams and procedures
• follow health and safety regulations and office policies.
