Vascular Sonographer

The Vascular Sonographer role is onsite in Plymouth, MA, with stated compensation of $40–$57 per hour, negotiable based on skills and experience. The Vascular Care Group provides vascular care, and this role reports to the Technical Director of Ultrasound for clinical matters and the Office Manager for operational matters. The sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations and prepares preliminary reports to help physicians diagnose and treat vascular patients. The role supports accurate clinical assessment, quality assurance, and daily sonography facility operations.

What you'll do

• Prepare the exam room and ultrasound equipment
• perform ordered diagnostic sonography examinations
• use professional judgment to capture relevant anatomy and pathology
• document examination limitations
• follow IAC accreditation and quality assurance requirements
• review images and prepare preliminary reports
• ensure billing requirements are met
• perform equipment quality control and preventive maintenance
• assist with facility operations and workflow.
