The Unarmed Security Officer role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with a daytime schedule Wednesday through Sunday, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Compensation is $19.50 per hour. The officer supports a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, visitors, and guests at an educational arts location.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while following site security procedures
• conduct unarmed patrols of galleries, classrooms, public areas, staff spaces, grounds, and perimeter areas
• monitor access points and visitor activity
• respond to incidents and alarms according to emergency protocols
• and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity.
