What you'll do

• Operate and maintain furnaces, ladles, crucibles, and related equipment
• perform routine and project-based maintenance
• rebuild refractory in holders and launder systems
• identify equipment issues
• collect samples and perform tests
• document maintenance, inspections, and quality results
• track materials
• load and unload metal, potentially using forklifts and cranes
• maintain a clean and safe workplace.
