What you'll do
- Operate directional boring rigs, excavators, backhoes, trenchers, ditching machines, graders, loaders, and hand tools as assigned
- clear and dig drainage ditches and dig and backfill trenches
- support construction and repair work
- follow company, city, state, and OSHA safety rules
- cross-train in functions needed to build or repair municipal water and sewer lines
- read blueprints as needed
- perform strenuous labor and work in varied weather conditions.
