The Emergency Veterinarian role is onsite in Orland Park, IL; base pay is $140,000–$200,000 per year. What you'll do

• Answer medical questions by phone
• assess patients through triage, history, vital signs, and physical examinations
• conduct or arrange diagnostic measures such as ultrasound, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies
• diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
• communicate options and estimates to clients
• maintain medical records
• perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• provide aftercare and prevention education where appropriate.
