The Electrical Engineer II — Aerospace Systems role is 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX. Compensation is $80,000–$90,000 per year. The position supports Knight Aerospace’s multidisciplinary aerospace programs. The engineer develops and implements electrical designs and systems, including aircraft integration and electrical-mechanical interfaces. The work supports safe, high-quality products through design documentation, production support, and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Develop electrical system specifications, designs, and electrical-mechanical interfaces
• integrate products with aircraft electrical systems
• develop connector and circuit breaker panels
• prepare product drawings and technical documentation
• identify and solve design problems
• support production and troubleshoot electrical issues
• establish individual budget, quality, and schedule deliverables
• support project design and sustainability processes
• develop energy audits and protocols
• liaise with planning, production, and quality. Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and at least eight years of aerospace engineering experience
• domestic and international travel may be required.
